Confession Series # 1
As my sisters will know, I'm big into confessing things that are sometimes embarrassing - but once they are out there in the open it seems to make it less weird. So confession # 1 - I talk to myself out loud. I have inherited this trait from my Mom and Grandpa who both speak to themselves out loud ALL the time.
Just tonight, I was in the shower thinking about how I need to get an emergency food supply going so that if there were ever times of hardship, we'd be alright. (I just watched this Tony Robbins DVD tonight that David Jay let Mike and I borrow and there was this guy on there that lost everything, so it got me thinking...) Anyway, I am talking to myself out loud about what I should get first to start my supply and Michael peeks his head in the bathroom and says, "What?!" He likes to sneak up on me when I'm talking to myself and catch me in action. It's really embarrassing - but also really funny.
I have heard that talking yourself is a sign of intelligence, though...
...or maybe I'm just insane... :)
If anyone wants to admit a funny confession - I want to hear it!!

I need to get my emergency supplies in order, too. We have tornadoes practically every time it rains here in Missouri. We just had a bad one a couple of weeks ago. And a fire started under my parents house the day before yesterday - there were about eight fire trucks there. So my mom was thinking about getting her important documents gathered again. It's good to keep them in a small, portable file folder thing next to your bed. SSNs, insurance ; papers, birth certificates, some photos (of course!); all the things you definitely don't want to lose in an emergency.
Oh, this is about confessions...I also talk to myself, albeit when I'm alone. ;) And I'm a lousy housekeeper.
My confession......I have NO discipline when it come to chocolate. No seriously. You are probably thinking, we are all like that. Well, have you eaten your child's stocking candy, or Easter candy, your husband's Valentine's candy.....I'm ruthless. If it's left anywhere I'm even aware of, it's mine.
I can verify that you certainly are not insane! Unless I am insane too, and by being friends with you, we are both insane by default. :) Love ya, Kristin PS - Come visit again soon, Jeremiah and I miss you guys
Thought of another......when doing laundry, I absolutely refuse to turn stuff right side out after it's washed. If someone puts it into the hamper inside out, that is how it will end up, folded nicely in their drawer.
Oh-and I don't iron.
I am also a total grouch when I am hungery. I mean like, please don't even touch me until I eat.
I also can't touch cotton balls. If a pill bottle has it at the top, I will die of whatever I am suffering from before I will pull the cotton out. Once, Peyton's preschool teacher asked me to tear apart cotton balls to make furry bunnies and I started to gag right in front of her.
Are you feeling better Anna? 'Cuz I could keep going!! Trust me!
OH-I should redeem myself now. Will and I do have a 72 hour kits loaded with everything including clothes, food, diapers, toys, documents, cash and yes, chocolate that I haven't eaten!! We also actually have about a 4 month food storage at this time, but need some more water. So I'm not a total joke, right??
Thanks for posting everyone!! (Especially Chey - you are making me feel better for SURE!! ) :) I love the inside scoop - we are all human and it's fun to hear what little funny things we do!
xo
